Michael Becker/FOXReese Witherspoon‘s 40th birthday party in Los Angeles on Saturday night turned out to be quite a high profile musical affair. The birthday girl and star of the 2002 romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama took to the stage, joined by country star and American Idol judge Keith Urban, to perform a rendition of the famous Lynyrd Skynyrd song of the same name.
Fashion writer Derek Blasberg posted an Instagram video snippet of the performance writing, “You can take the girl out the South, but you can’t take Sweet Home Alabama out the girl!”
