CMANext Monday, Keith Urban will release his new single, “Break on Me” at 2 p.m. CT. Keith made the announcement via YouTube early Thursday from London, where his wife, Nicole Kidman, is starring in the play Photograph 51.
“That is ready to be heard really soon,” Keith said after playing a snippet of the song. “I’m so excited about this new single… I’m looking forward to you guys getting to hear it and especially looking forward to playing it live, which we’ll be doing very soon.”
“Break on Me” is the follow-up to his chart-topping single “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.” It’s the second single from his forthcoming, eighth studio album.
Keith wrapped up the judging rounds for the farewell season of American Idol last weekend in San Francisco, after playing the final date of his summer tour in Honolulu last Wednesday. His first show ever in Hawaii also happened to be a sell-out.
