In addition to competing for Country’s Favorite Female Artist against Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood later this month at the American Music Awards, Billboard will honor her as its Rising Star at its Women in Music event next month. Now, she’s headed to the White House.
Kelsea will perform at the 2015 National Christmas Tree Lighting alongside Crosby, Stills & Nash and hip-hop artist Aloe Blacc. This is the 93rd year for the ceremony. This year’s event starts December 3 at 4:30 p.m. ET. You’ll be able to watch live online or catch the special as it airs all around the country on PBS during the month of December.
Later that night, Kelsea also sings “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” on ABC’s two-hour CMA Country Christmas special. It starts at 9 p.m. ET.
