Kimberly Williams-Paisley opens up to the magazine about her dozen years of wedded bliss with the notorious jokester– and she says his sense of humor is actually one of the main reasons their union is so successful.
“No matter what happens in our marriage, we try to find humor in it, even on the darkest day,” she confesses. “Brad’s always said, ‘If you can laugh about it one day, then why not start now?’ He always makes me laugh, so I am grateful for that.”
For the celebrity couple, the Father of the Bride actress says the perfect date night would take place on their Tennessee porch. “I’ll have a glass of wine, Brad might have a cigar and we’ll talk. We just love being relaxed together at home,” she reveals.
Family time is similarly low-key for the parents of two boys, 8-year-old Huck and 6-year-old Jasper. “We try to have calm, quiet Sundays where we’re all hanging out in our pajamas, and I guess that’s the balance we need,” Kimberly says.
