Image Courtesy MCA NashvilleKip Moore scored three big hits on his debut album, Up All Night, but he’s not content to recreate those past successes for his new album. As indicated by his brand-new single, “I’m to Blame,” Kip is moving forward with a new sound and some very introspective lyrics.

“A lot of times when things are successful, people want you to stay in one spot,” Kip tells CMT.com.  “They’re used to you doing one kind of thing. … ‘You’ve got to keep doing this thing over and over.’ It’s, like, ‘Nah.’”

He adds, “You grow as a person. You grow as an artist.”

Kip expects to release his new album later this year. He hits the road with Dierks Bentley on the Sounds of Summer tour in June.
