Streamsound RecordsKristian Bush is headed overseas to entertain U.S. troops, though the journey starts closer to home with a Memorial Day Performance at Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii. The trek will continue with seven performances for service men and women throughout Japan through June 6.

Playing these shows is a true labor of love for Kristian, who comes from a family of U.S. veterans. He says “My father was an officer in the Army and my grandfather served in World War II, and I am so proud of their service. I’ll always do whatever I can to support our troops.”

Following his shows in Japan, Kristian is making multiple appearances in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival, including a performance at the Bluebird Café on June 9 and another appearance at the Grand Ole Opry June 13.

Kristian’s new single, “Light Me Up,” is also coming to country radio June 1 as the follow-up to his top-20 hit, “Trailer Hitch.” Both tracks are included on Kristian’s debut solo project, Southern Gravity, available now.
