ABC/Image Group LA When LANCO decided they wanted to name their debut album after one of their songs, the closing track, “Hallelujah Nights,” ended up being the hands-down favorite.  “That song kind of just encompasses the themes of the album,” lead singer Brandon Lancaster explains.

“We just wanted this album to reflect who we are and our relationships and our circumstances, and the things we’ve gone through,” Brandon says.

“But at the same time, still living in that moment, still looking around you and savoring all the moments that you’re given, and knowing that these people that you’re around and these moments that you’re given…one day they’ll just be memories,” he adds. “And they go by way too fast.”

With their first #1, “Greatest Love Story,” already in the history books, Brandon confesses that the five friends are getting a little sentimental.

He says, “We already can look back, and we already kind of are nostalgic about certain times, when there were four out of five of us living in one house, or just certain things like that.”

That sense of nostalgia, Brandon says, underlines the album’s theme of living in the present, but celebrating and cherishing the past.

Hallelujah Nights, new in stores and online today, also features LANCO’s new single, “Born to Love You,” which opens the record.
