ABC/Image Group LADouble nominee Little Big Town has locked in one of the coveted performance slots on the upcoming 58th Grammy Awards. The foursome is up for Best Country Album for Pain Killer, as well as Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Girl Crush.” The writers of their smash hit also vie for two trophies, for Best Country Song and the all-genre Song of the Year award.

LBT’s fellow nominee for “The Driver,” Charles Kelley, has Grammy performance plans as well, though his are a little bit in jeopardy, since he’s expecting his first child right around the same time.

“The coolest thing is Lady A is actually, the two nights before, we’re gonna — I believe it’s a MusiCares event. They’re honoring Lionel Richie and we’re gonna sing a song for him. That’s something I want to be a part of. So, I don’t know. We may have to call in a backup to take my place with Hillary [Scott] and Dave [Haywood],” he jokes.

The Grammys air February 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. For the record, Charles’ wife Cassie has given him her blessing to attend, since their baby isn’t due until February 17.

Pop phenomenon Adele is also set to sing on the show, hosted by LL Cool J. Expect more performers to be announced in the coming weeks.
