ABC/Eric McCandlessWe all may be dying to know how Little Big Town will follow up their monster hit “Girl Crush” and what they were doing a couple weeks ago hanging out with Justin Timberlake, but country music’s most amiable foursome is not spilling the T.

“We don’t know Justin Timberlake!” Kimberly Schlapman protested politely, while the rest of her bandmates roared. “I’m just kidding,” she confessed. “He’s a sweetheart! I’ll tell you that.”

“Yeah, good old Tennessee boy!” Jimi Westbrook agreed.

“We had fun with him one day,” Kimberly offered, referencing the Instagram photo that both JT and LBT shared.

“Just hangin’ out,” Jimi replied, when asked what they were up to.

“Drinkin’ coffee,” Kimberly elaborated.

“From coffee to tequila, yeah!” Karen Fairchild added, laughing.

In the past, it’s been rumored the West Tennessee native may be making a country album or opening a Nashville label. His performance on last November’s CMA Awards with Chris Stapleton only fueled the fire.

As for Little Big Town’s new music, the details are few, but the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group does confirm they’re working on it.

“We’re back in the studio and… it’s fun!” Karen stops, almost as if she’s editing herself.

“We are super inspired right now and we’re living the dream for ourselves and we’re enjoying every minute of it!” Phillip Sweet closes.

After the band’s comments backstage at the ACMs Sunday, the mystery only deepened. On Monday, the band Instagrammed a photo with Bruno Mars and his right-hand man Philip Lawrence, along with the caption, “Back in LA.”

The band followed Tuesday with a video of them singing “Happy Birthday” to Pharrell Williams.
