Image Courtesy ABCMonday night is the beginning of the Battle Rounds on NBC’s The Voice, and that means it’s time for each coach to bring on their mentors, who’ll help advise their team members during this next phase of competition. Blake Shelton brought in Little Big Town to mentor his team, and the vocal group ended up learning a lot just watching Blake work with the contestants.
LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman tells ABC News Radio, “He finds out what’s unique about them and helps them exploit that. I noticed that about him, too. He seemed to have something unique to everybody, and that’s hard after you hear that many singers.”
Band mate Karen Fairchild agrees, adding, “He has a way of nurturing, and it’s super-endearing, I think, when you’re up there, and you’re so vulnerable as a singer, and he makes you feel comfortable.”
Of course, Blake’s personality wins him a lot of points on The Voice, too.
Says Karen, “We all know he’s very funny and witty and charming and, of course, sexy. No, I’m just kidding.”
She adds with a laugh, “You are sexy, Blake.”
