ABC/Image Group LA Dierks Bentley will be one of the headliners for Live Nation’s 2nd Annual National Concert Day Show May 3 in New York City. Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, and rapper Wiz Khalifa will also take the stage at Irving Plaza.
The Today show’s Hoda Kotb will host, bringing on special appearances by Nick Jonas, Goo Goo Dolls, Simon Kirke of Bad Company and more. If you can’t make it to the Big Apple next week, you’ll also be able to stream the full concert live on Yahoo.
Live Nation will also offer a special $20 summer concert ticket May 13-20 to kick off the upcoming season of live music. Nearly a thousand concerts will be included in the deal. Though the specifics are yet to be announced, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert, Darius Rucker, Dierks, the Dixie Chicks, Florida Georgia Line, Hank Williams Jr. & Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith and Zac Brown Band are just some of the stars leading Live Nation tours this summer.
