ABC/Image Group LALOCASH recently released their brand new single, “Don’t Get Better Than That,” and made the television debut of the song on December 29 during Live on Megyn Kelly TODAY.

The duo played “Don’t Get Better Than That” in front of a live studio audience in the heart of New York City and the upbeat number had the crowd clapping along throughout the entirety of their performance.

The infectious song was written by LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas with Phil Barton and Lindsay Rimes and is the lead single from the band’s forthcoming album, due out in 2018. A nostalgic track about the best moments in life, LOCASH sing of going back home for mama’s cooking, hearing the words “I love you daddy” spoken by their kids, killing time driving around on a full tank of gas and blasting Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

The guys previously told ABC Radio that writing “Don’t Get Better Than That” was a positive experience.

“We just kinda sit around and talk about all the blessings in our life,” Preston explains, “ and then you try to make a little bit of a story out of it. And when it all comes together… and it just makes everybody smile and drive a little faster and feel real good and roll the windows down — you know you’ve done your job.”
