Capitol NashvilleLuke Bryan kicks off his Farm Tour 2015 Wednesday night in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and he’s brought on some big sponsors to help make this outing the biggest and best ever.

Says Luke, “We’ve got Bayer Chemical involved, and they are huge in the agricultural world. You know, you see Bayer aspirin, you don’t realize they make agricultural chemicals, too.”

As part of Luke’s Farm Tour, Bayer is promoting its #Thankful4Ag campaign to help provide meals for those in need while also thanking farmers for all their hard work.  Red Gold Tomatoes also has signed on as a tour sponsor, and Luke adds, “[We] should have some good Italian food out there from the fresh tomatoes.”

These tour sponsors help Luke’s Farm Tour give even more money directly to scholarships for the children of farmers in each town. Luke has played 32 Farm Tour shows over the last four years, which means 32 students have benefited from the Farm Tour scholarship.

“I’ve met quite a few of ’em, and typically I meet ’em after [they’ve received the scholarship],” Luke explains. “They come up to me, and they’re like, ‘I received your scholarship,’ and it’s a very neat connection.”

Luke’s Farm Tour 2015 will wrap up October 10 in Valdosta, Georgia. Sam Hunt and Chris Janson are among the special guests for these eight dates.
