Image Courtesy ABC/Dick Clark ProductionsLuke Bryan is taking his wife, Caroline, to New Orleans Mardi Gras this Valentine’s Day as he serves as the Grand Marshal for the Krewe of Endymion in their big parade Saturday. While Luke plans to indulge in quite a few drinks while riding on the float, he knows he has a show to do that night at the Endymion Extravaganza.
“Once you get on the float, you’re on the float,” Luke says of his Mardi Gras dilemma. “And then I’m like, ‘Alright, don’t get drunk. Don’t get drunk. Don’t get drunk.’ I don’t really know if there’s any way around that.”
Since there’s a good chance Luke will still be feeling the effects of his alcohol once show time hits that night, he jokes that he should enforce a no photos or video policy during the concert.
Luke says, “I have never been to Mardi Gras, and I’m the worst at getting excited about something and then overdoing it. So, yeah, I’ll be toast.”
