Joseph LlanesWhen Randy Houser took the stage for an impromptu collaboration with tour mates Luke Bryan and Dustin Lynch Thursday night in Sacramento, he didn’t know Luke had a surprise in store for him. Waiting in the wings was a gold record for his hit “Like a Cowboy.”
“This is probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written, and the fact that people have really latched on to it and made it into such a huge song for us means the world to me,” Randy says. “ It’s really special.”
After he wraps up his work on the Kick the Dust Up dates at the end of October, Randy heads out on his first headlining tour with Frankie Ballard and Craig Campbell, named for his current single, “We Went.” Fans can expect to hear new music from his next album as the tour kicks off November 19 in South Bend, Indiana.
