ABC/Image Group LAMaddie & Tae offer an inspiring new take on their top-ten hit, “Fly,” with a new video shot at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Filmed during a day the duo recently spent visiting with patients and families at the Nashville facility, it’s just one of the things they’re doing to help the Shine Bright campaign, which urges folks to write letters to encourage patients, families and caregivers.

“Seeing the light and joy in the eyes of the patients we were able to sing and play with would brighten anyone’s day,” Tae Dye reflects. “Knowing people find something encouraging in this music is the greatest gift we can be given.”

“Interacting with the patients and caregivers…  has been one of the most rewarding things we’ve done,” Maddie Marlow adds. “Knowing this special version of ‘Fly’ will also encourage people to write letters of support is the icing on the cake.”

You can watch the new version of “Fly” online now, with more information on how you can help Shine Bright on the campaign’s website.

Maddie & Tae are currently climbing the charts with their latest single, “Shut Up and Fish.”
