Image Courtesy BMLGMartina McBride will be honored with the Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award at the Music Business Association’s 2015 Awards Luncheon coming up May 14 in Nashville. The event recognizes Martina’s years of philanthropic work in the fight against domestic violence as well her participation in events raising money for muscular dystrophy and cancer research.
Martina says, “While my goal was never to be recognized for my charitable efforts, this award is proof that we can all make a difference, no matter how small, in the lives of others. I hope this recognition will encourage more people to support worthy organizations that speak to their hearts.”
