Sony Music NashvilleCarrie Underwood is on the cover of Cosmopolitan now, but next issue’s cover woman is Miranda Lambert, according to ET— and she’s talking about her divorce from Blake Shelton for the very first time.
“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” she reportedly tells the magazine. “I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”
Even though Miranda sounds upbeat and positive, she admits that she’s still working through things emotionally. “Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man this sucks right now,’” she confesses.
