A website called Busbud analyzed millions of photos to figure out which place in each state gets Instagrammed the most, and broke it down into five major categories.
1. Nature and beaches, including the Grand Canyon in Arizona and Denali National Park in Alaska.
2. Sports venues, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana and Wrigley Field in Illinois.
3. Major landmarks, including Bourbon Street in New Orleans and the Empire State Building in New York.
4. Zoos. Randomly, a zoo is number one in Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
5. Dollywood. As in, the theme park owned by Dolly Parton. It’s the most Instagrammed place in Tennessee. I guess that shouldn’t count as its own category, but we felt like we HAD to mention it.
