Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockCountry Music Hall of Famers Alabama picked up their first Dove award at the Gospel Music Association’s ceremonies this week in Nashville, winning the trophy for Bluegrass/Country Album of the Year for Angels Among Us: Hymns & Gospel Favorites.
Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott will be the emcee November 16 when Leadership Music gives Reba their Dale Franklin Award. The ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame honors those in the business who “exemplify the highest attributes of leadership and leading by example.”
Not only will Tracy Lawrence fry turkeys for the Nashville Rescue Mission for the tenth year in a row on November 24, he’ll also host a benefit show next door at City Winery. Charlie Daniels, Lorrie Morgan, Darryl Worley and Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down are just some of the talent confirmed for the evening concert so far.
