Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock Tanya Tucker will light the 30-foot-tall Christmas tree at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday, November 27 at 4 p.m. CT, after a brief performance of some of her hits and holiday classics.
Jennifer Nettles and Jake Owen will both perform in this year’s annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 89th edition of the holiday classic airs all across the country at 9 a.m. on Thursday, November 26.
On Thursday, Charlie Daniels helped open the Veterans and Family Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee University in Murfreesboro. “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” icon donated $50,000 from his 40th Anniversary Volunteer Jam in August to the project.
