This year’s Chairman of the Beard, Josh Turner, also walked away with the contest’s Most Valuable Beard award. During its five-year history, the November event has donated more than $620,000 to the Memphis facility.
More than 21,000 people have downloaded The Voice contestant Emily Ann Roberts‘ cover of The Judds‘ “Why Not Me,” according to Billboard.
Three other songs besides Chris Young‘s “I’m Comin’ Over” have spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard chart this year: Kenny Chesney‘s “Save it for a Rainy Day,” Zac Brown Band‘s “Homegrown” and Tim McGraw‘s “Shotgun Rider.”
