Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock HGTV stars Jonathan and Drew Scott, perhaps better known as the Property Brothers, will host Friday night’s CMA Music Festival show at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge lead the TV version, which airs Wednesday, August 3 on ABC.
Trisha Yearwood will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” Tuesday at the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game at Nashville’s First Tennessee Park.
The song Chris Stapleton performed on last year’s CMA Awards, “Tennessee Whiskey,” was recently certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
