George Strait presented singer/songwriter Jim Lauderdale with the Lifetime Achievement Award at last week’s Americana Awards at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Lauderdale wrote the Strait classic “The King of Broken Hearts.”
Newcomer Brooke Eden’s debut EP Welcome to the Weekend is now available at the usual digital outlets. The four-song project’s lead single is the track “Diamonds.”
