In addition to welcoming more than ten country radio personalities and business executives, the organization bestowed their 2017 Artist Career Achievement Award upon Martina McBride.

Prolific Nashville songwriters Sarah Buxton and Rodney Clawson have re-signed with powerhouse publishing company Big Loud Shirt Publishing. Sarah has written charts hits for Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson and Florida Georgia Line. Rodney Clawson has written #1 hits for Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean as well as Justin Moore’s most recent chart-topper, “You Look Like I Need a Drink.”

Stars of the hit CMT series Nashville played two sold-out shows at Manchester’s O2 Apollo recently. Following the shows, Opry Entertainment- the show’s producer- donated £10,000 to the British Red Cross “UK Solidarity Fund” on behalf of the touring cast: Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten, Sam Palladio and Jonathan Jackson. The fund was set up by the British Red Cross to help victims of terrorist attacks throughout the U.K
