Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock Kacey Musgraves debuts at #1 on the country albums chart this week with her latest record, which came in at #4 on the all-genre Billboard 200 tally. Kacey sold more than 49,000 copies of Golden Hour in its first week.

The Country Music Association is planning a special edition of the CMA Songwriters Series the week of CMA Fest. Vince GillMary Chapin CarpenterMac McAnally and Don Schlitz will take the stage Wednesday, June 6, at the CMA Theater inside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 11 a.m. CT at CMATheater.com.

Chris Stapleton‘s follow-up to his #1, “Broken Halos, will be the From A Room: Volume 2 track “Millionaire.”
