Rumors are circulating that a woman named Sarah Thomas might be the NFL’s first full-time female official. She’s a 41-year-old mother of three.  She’s worked Division 1 college football for the past seven years and in 2009 she was the first female to ever officiate a College Bowl Game. She also officiated some NFL preseason games last year. The NFL hasn’t confirmed her hire yet, but we’re really hoping it’s true!

Check out her profile on ESPN’s “Outside The Lines.”
