ABC/Image Group LA Thomas Rhett was forced to cancel his shows this week due to sickness, but any other weekend, he’d be hitting the road on the Home Team Tour with the guys in Old Dominion.

Lead singer Matthew Ramsey says OD is loving their stint on the fall leg of TR’s headlining trek.

“We go out there and do a little thing with him,” he tells ABC Radio, “and we’ve written some songs already and he’s a great guy. We’re a great fit. It really feels like a fun show and a fun package, you know. We were excited when we heard we were gonna be there, but now that we’re there, it’s definitely a lot of fun.”

The only thing that may not be fun is deciding who gets the songs that Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett have written together.

“That’s the talk that’s going on,” Matthew says. “He probably thinks he’s writing for us, and we probably think that we’re writing for him.”

OD heads across the pond with Thomas Rhett next month, kicking off a series of dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland on November 10.
