MCA NashvilleThings are apparently getting a little out of hand on the Wild Ones tour. Monday on the The Talk, Kip Moore told hosts Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne how the recent advances of a rapturous fan left him with a chipped tooth.
“A girl was just really excited. I think she’d had a little bit too much to drink and she rushed the stage, and I actually had my eyes closed when it happened… All of the sudden I felt the mic just slam into my mouth and it chipped the bottom of my tooth.”
Ever the gentleman, Kip didn’t seem too upset about the incident.
“You know what? It adds character. Now I’ve got a story!” he said good-naturedly. “I gave her a hug and the bouncers rushed up to tackle her, but I said ‘No, no, no no, she’s cool.’ I gave her a hug and she said ‘I love you!’ I said ‘Well, you could’ve thought of a better way to show it!’” he quipped.
Kip also performed his latest hit, “Running for You,” on the CBS show.
