Blake Woodyard, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 1100 block of Moro St. in Manhattan on January 21, 2018 at approximately 10:51 AM. Woodyard was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of distribution of heroin. Woodyard was issued a total bond of $50,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for electronic solicitation, aggravated unlawful transmission of visual depiction of a child and promotion of obscenity to minors. Officers listed the State of Kansas as the victim and four known juveniles as the suspects. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information was released.
Officers filed a report for burglary in the 3000 block of Sandstone Dr. in Manhattan yesterday at approximately 3:20 PM. Officers listed Amaad Wainright, 22, of Manhattan, as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took clothing items from his home. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,156.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
