Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of Fort Riley Blvd. and Westwood Rd. in Manhattan on January 26, 2018 at approximately 7:44 AM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2003 Chevy Silverado driven by Tyler Welfringer, 19, of Manhattan, had struck a 2003 Cadillac CTS driven by Sandra Dillard, 76, of Manhattan. Dillard was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Welfringer was issued a citation for failure to stop at a red light.

Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on January 26, 2018. Officers listed a 21 year old female as the victim and a male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Roy Roberts Jr. was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on January 27, 2018 at approximately 10:30 AM. Roberts Jr. was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Roberts Jr. was issued a bond of $10,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

Jenifer Mushero, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 100 block of Knox Ln. in Manhattan on January 28, 2018 at approximately 10:40 AM. Mushero was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. Mushero was issued a bond of $5,000.00 causing her to remain confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in Manhattan on January 28, 2018 at approximately 11:00 AM. Officers listed a 37 year old female as the victim when she reported a known 35 year old female suspect threatened her with a knife during a verbal argument. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 5300 block of Miller Pkwy. in Manhattan on January 28, 2018 at approximately 7:20 PM. Officers listed Markell Jackson, 19, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect drove at him.
