ABC/Image Group LAIn a Facebook post this weekend, Reba McEntire confirmed that her split from longtime manager Narvel Blackstock is official. “Narvel and I are divorced. It was final October 28,” she commented on a photo that shows the two sitting side-by-side with four of their employees, who’ve all worked together for more than 20 years.
She goes on to say, “Thanks for all of those sweet messages. Narvel and I are friends. We have always been.” Though they were married 26 years, Narvel has worked with the Country Music Hall of Famer for 35, playing steel in her band before becoming her manager.
The two announced their amicable split in August, revealing they intend to continue with their business relationship. They have one son together, 25-year-old Shelby.
