Sam Worster/MCA NashvilleSam Hunt is teaming up with the Grammys to give up-and-coming musicians a new platform. He’ll judge the fourth annual Amplifier contest, along with Lzzy Hale, lead singer of rock band Halestorm, and hip-hop artist Big Sean.

“It wasn’t long ago I was an unknown artist,” Sam, who now has three number-ones under his belt, points out. “I couldn’t be more grateful to the people who helped me with the tools I needed to start my career. I look forward to shining a light on these aspiring musicians.”

To enter, you just need to upload a song to GrammyAmplifier.com before December 16. The top 25 artists with the most track plays and social media “amplifications” will move on to the semifinals. From there, it will be narrowed down to a field of ten, from whom Sam, Lzzy and Big Sean will choose the top three.

Final winners will be announced during Grammy week in February, with the victors getting either a recording session with a Grammy-winning producer, a music video by a celebrated director or an opening slot for a noted artist or a series of festival dates.
