CMAThe Band Perry recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the release of their sophomore album, Pioneer. While the latest single from that project, “Chainsaw,” climbs the charts, the Perry siblings are starting to think about what they want to say on their upcoming third album.

Lead singer Kimberly Perry says, “We have begun, slowly but surely, and I can’t even tell you what’s in our heads yet, because we’re still trying to get it all out on paper.”

The Band Perry spent a lot of time writing and re-writing songs for Pioneer. This time around, they’re taking a more intuitive approach to writing music.

“On the third album I can say it’s all about feel,” Kimberly explains. “‘How does this feel? This feels good. This is gonna feel good live.’ So it’s already taken a life of its own and it has its own personality. We’ll see what it becomes.”

There’s a chance The Band Perry could try out some of those new songs on the road. Go to TheBandPerry.com to see where they’re playing next.
