Image Courtesy Republic NashvilleThe Band Perry has signed on to perform at a Nashville concert and film screening of the new Glen Campbell documentary, Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me. The event takes place October 19 at the Music City Center in Nashville, with proceeds going to Alzheimer’s disease awareness.
The film captures Glen as he embarks on the 151-show Goodbye Tour after going public with his Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis. Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and The Band Perry are among the stars paying tribute to Glen in the documentary. The Band Perry also contributed a live recording of Glen’s classic, “Gentle on My Mind,” to the film’s soundtrack.
Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me opens in theaters in New York and Nashville on October 24 before going national in 50 cities.
