Webster Public RelationsSunday night, the Oak Ridge Boys officially become members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. But last weekend, they were rubbing elbows with Taylor Swift outside Dallas. The Oaks took in Taylor’s 1989 show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and headed backstage to visit with the superstar and her parents.

Lead singer Duane Allen simply called Taylor’s production the “most amazing show I have ever seen.” During their visit, her dad recalled going to see the “Elvira” hitmakers in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1979, long before his famous daughter was born.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum officially welcomes the Oak Ridge Boys into its ranks Sunday evening with its yearly medallion ceremony, also honoring Jim Ed Brown and the Browns and guitar legend Grady Martin.
