ABC RadioBy now, Garth Brooks should be more than a week into his long winter’s nap.

The six-time CMA Entertainer of the Year wrapped the North American leg of his World Tour Saturday, December 23 in Nashville. After that, he joked that he and wife Trisha Yearwood were headed home to sleep.

While Garth may be getting some much-needed rest these days, he’s also turning his attention to the “world” part of the trek — and that includes trying to bring the World Tour to the Emerald Isle, something he tried to do as far back as 2014.

“I’m a little antsy to see what happens,” he tells ABC Radio. “I’d love to complete what we started in Ireland. Whether that happens or not is gonna be up to Ireland. But I’d love to take a look at that and I gotta tell you:  Australia, I miss them to death,” he adds.

Garth continues outlining his dream itinerary from here:  “Places like Germany, places like Sheffield and Birmingham, [England,] those two cities — just wonderful.”

The global superstar even mentions some North American cities he’d still like to visit:  “There’s places outside here that you miss. We did not hit Toronto on this tour. That’s another fabulous market for us. Montreal. Thank God, we have some options. And if they don’t mind us coming to their city, I’d love to visit them.”

Garth does have several dates already on the books for 2018:  In February, he’ll both open and close RodeoHouston, before headlining California’s Stagecoach Festival in April.
