Valory Music Co./Warner Music NashvilleThomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge have become really good friends in the past year, and that friendship led them to go on the road together for the Boots & Suits tour this fall. Thomas expects to share a lot of laughs with Brett onstage and in between shows.
“He’s the goofiest dude I’ve ever met,” Thomas tells ABC Radio. “He’s one of those people that I don’t think you could sit in a room and just, like, watch football without him talking to you. Brett’s energy level from, like, 6 a.m. until he goes to bed, is just nonstop. He’s on 12.”
Thomas goes on to call Brett a “fun, happy person to be around,” and you can see their friendship on display in a new series of lighthearted commercials for the restaurant chain, Zaxby’s.
Says Thomas, “Us doing a commercial together, I mean, there’s no way that that could have failed. I mean, he’s funny and we play off each other really well.”
