E! reports that Shawna gave birth to their son, Rigney Cooper Thompson, on Sunday. In a statement, the duo told E!, “God blessed us this morning with a little 7 pound 13 oz miracle. It’s hard to explain this kind of love. We’re so overjoyed. He’s already got us wrapped around his little finger.”
According to E!, the name “Rigney” is the maiden name of Shawn’s grandmother.
The ACM and CMA-winning duo announced they were expecting in September.
