Nino Munoz/Big Machine RecordsTim McGraw cancelled two concerts in California over the weekend due to illness.
A statement posted on his Facebook page says he’s been placed on vocal rest by his doctors.
“This is so disappointing to me. We’ve had such a great summer and I was looking forward to this final weekend with the fans in California,” McGraw said. “I appreciate the support and look forward to coming back soon. The word ‘can’t’ is just not in my DNA, if there was any way I could sing, I would do it.”
The affected shows were September 18 in Mountain View, California, and September 19 in Irvine, California. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
