The song is nominated in the Best Original Song category and is featured in the documentary about Glen’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me. Glen’s disease makes it impossible for him to perform the song.
Glen’s family personally asked Tim to perform the song on the Oscars.”I’m honored to be asked to sing this powerful song from one of the true legends of the music industry,” says Tim.
