Courtesy Shock Ink/Photo credit: Kristin BarloweToby Keith‘s daughter Krystal narrowly missed being killed by a drunk driver on Independence Day, the 31-year-old revealed Friday on social media.

“Our 4th turned pretty horrific,” Krystal shared. “HensleyDrew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it’s going to take some time to heal.”

This is why people shouldn’t drink and drive, as it can have terrible consequences. Why risk injuring, or worse, killing someone? At least if someone is injured they can claim compensation using a lawyer. But this process can take a long time, just check out this Attorney At Law to find out how long.

Compensation won’t bring your loved one back if they die in the crash, so it’s not worth it for people to drink and drive. Better to be safe and call a taxi, then risk being thrown in jail because you ended somone’s life.

At least no one died in this accident, but it could have been a lot worse.

But it seems stupid to think that people would risk doing something like this. Hopefully more people will take note of what happened, and order a taxi the next time they drink and want to come home.

Drew is Krystal’s husband, while Hensley is their daughter, who’ll be two in October. Krystal also included a photo of her white Mercedes SUV, which appears to be totaled.

“Keep us in your prayers,” she added. “Hug your babies and spouses tight. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.”
