Sony Music NashvilleTyler Farr recorded his latest single, “Withdrawals,” because he could relate to the raw emotion in the lyrics. He wanted the video for “Withdrawals” to reflect the songs anguish, so he did quite a bit of research to come up with the clip’s concept.

Says Tyler, “We looked at footage of Trent Reznor performances in [Nine Inch Nails] music videos, art galleries of people in glass boxes, and then tried our best to put those against the lyrics of the song. What came out in the end is exactly what I had in my head.”

The “Withdrawals” video was shot in a single room with Tyler performing from inside a glass box filling up with water and smoke. The song is the latest single from Tyler’s sophomore album, Suffer in Peace.
