Dolly Records/RCA NashvilleThings get classy, sassy and everything in between, as newcomer RaeLynn gets the chance to sit down with her idol, Dolly Parton, in the latest installment of Cracker Barrel’s Front Porch Series, which premieres today on ABC Radio.

“Oh my gosh, I about died when I met [her]! She is awesome!” says RaeLynn, who got her first taste of fame on The Voice with current tourmate Blake Shelton. “She is an incredible woman, and just being in her presence, you just feel better about yourself.”

RaeLynn and Dolly discuss everything from the icon’s songwriting, sense of style, and the scope of her success, before seguing into a game of “Classy or Sassy,” deciding how they’d react in some sticky situations. The newlywed RaeLynn also walked away with a little advice from the entertainment icon.

“My favorite thing that she said to me is — I asked her, I said, ‘You know, I just recently got married, I see you’ve been married for 50 years…what’s the key? She goes, ‘Well, I’ve been gone 40 out of the 50, so technically we’ve only been married for ten, so that’s the key!’ She’s just so funny! She’s just hilarious,” RaeLynn beams.

“Love Triangle” is Raelynn’s recently released first single for Warner Nashville.

You can pick up a special edition of Dolly’s 43rd album, Pure & Simple, complete with bonus live versions of “9 to 5” and “Jolene,” exclusively at Cracker Barrel.
