Capitol NashvilleDierks Bentley is stepping out of the spotlight, and shining it on the folks who helped make his latest album and his Somewhere on a Beach Tour a success.

His latest endeavor, Behind BLACK: The Anatomy of the Album & Tour, features interviews with 125 members of Dierks’ team, from famous faces like tourmates Randy Houser and Cam and collaborators Elle King and Maren Morris, to non-celebrities like the Arizona native’s family and his touring crew.

“I don’t think the fans truly understand who all is behind their favorite song on the record or what it took to build the airplane that crashes onto the stage during our live show,” Dierks says. “So this web project was a way for me to give a little credit to all the people who work so hard to help me make my dreams come true.”

You can check out Dierks’ innovative interface for the interviews online. This week, “Different for Girls” is nearing the top ten, as Dierks prepares for the vinyl release of Black on August 12.
