Image Group LA/ABCThis holiday definitely will be one Carrie Underwood will never forget. It’s her first one since she and hockey star-husband Mike Fisher welcomed baby Isaiah, who’ll turn one in February. The “Heartbeat” hitmaker says when she thinks about the wonder of Christmas it doesn’t involve the mystery of what’s under the tree, thanks to Isaiah’s grandma.

“One thing you learn in my family is that my mother is… um… a blabbermouth. And ever since I was little, I have known every single Christmas present I have ever gotten, ever,” she emphasizes. “I’m not one for surprises, and yeah, I’ve always known my presents before Christmas. But I didn’t have to, like, sneak around and find out what they were, ’cause Mom told me.”

Once Carrie enjoys her first yuletide with a little one, it’ll be back to work one more time in 2015, with an old pal from American Idol. She headlines Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2016 from Times Square, December 31 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
