Every Independence Day, Wamego transforms into Boomtown! It is considered to be the best fireworks show in the state of Kansas, and B104.7 provides the soundtrack!
When you head to Boomtown on July 4th, make sure you take a boombox or crank up your car stereo, because when the sun goes down, we play the soundtrack to THE fireworks show to end all fireworks shows! And make sure you are listening to a radio; if you stream online, there is enough of a delay that you won’t get the full experience!
