For Chiefs fans, it’s been a long couple of months since that debacle at the Super Bowl. I think we’ve all been looking forward to turning the page to a new season.
In the NFL, that “new season” gets underway with the annual NFL Draft…and as luck would have it that event starts next Thursday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. And if we weren’t already looking forward to it before, the announcement that Brad Paisley is playing a free post-draft concert definitely gets our interest.
“There’s nothing like football to bring people together, and the NFL Draft is where it all begins,” said Paisley. “As a lifelong fan, I can’t wait to help close out an unforgettable weekend with a little music and one heck of a party.”
We’re guessing Brad’s using this show as a warm-up for his “Truck Still Works World Tour” that kicks off May 21st in Idaho. Considering that tour isn’t coming anywhere close to Kansas…Green Bay might be our best opportunity to see him this summer.
