The Academy of Country Music is set to honor the legendary duo during the “Play Something Country” gala, to be held the night before the 60th annual ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas.
The festivities will be held at The Star, and will feature performances from Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban and more. There will also be a silent auction, with proceeds going to an organization called ACM Lifting Lives. Their work involves mental health initiatives in the country music world.
Of course, the following night Kix and Ronnie are nominated for Duo of the Year…a trophy they’ve already collected 16 times!
