Three years…72 shows…and now it’s all over.

Carrie Underwood wrapped up her Vegas residency over the weekend, and the final show featured all things Vegas: sequins, pyrotechnics, mirrors, and lots of costume changes.

For her part, Carrie was able to keep her emotions in check for most of the final evening. But during the last song, 2014’s “Something in the Water”, her voice began to break. “It has been an honor and a privilege, and a pleasure and a blessing to get to be in this stage” said the singer as she descended from the stage in the midst of an actual waterfall.

The ninety minute show featured high-energy hits like “Cowboy Casanova,” “Before He Cheats” and “Church Bells”. Carrie will now focus on her judging duties on “American Idol”.
